  1. I am furious, that fox news believe they have the right to censor and have removed these video’s from sites that people go to to see what was said from the candidates in the debates. The debates, and what is said by the candidates belong to the American people, to weigh what is said in making their choice for their nominee.

I read this story this morning:

    http://www.pcworld.com/article/246361/controversial_antipiracy_bill_sopa_nears_house_approval_why_you_should_care.html

Apparently Fox believes they have this privilege, to attack any other source of information that American’s choose to use to get the information about the debate.

Again, the content and information of debates belongs to the American People. The liberties of our free society are under attack.

    • Whoever owns the copyright actually owns the content. In this case, it was Fox News. If the videos were posted in a place that drew traffic away from Fox’s website, it is within their rights to demand its removal so that people are forced to go to the Fox site to get the video. This way they benefit from the web traffic and advertising click-throughs. This is property rights 101 that we conservatives want to see preserved.

  2. I agree, I watched an hour of the debate last night, decided to finish the rest today, and now I can only find it in piecemeal.

  3. And “AMEN!” to both Sheryl and Anonymous’ sentiments. We can hope such a situation will be corrected.

In a larger concern, it reminds us that the self-styled “news” industry is no longer aimed at informing but rather at selling the public a mix of sponsor’s products and mostly, left-wing propaganda. Fox supplies most of the non-leftish propaganda along with some (usually inferior versions of) left views. Sources suggest Fox may be beefing up its left side.

So, removing much of the debate from availability shouldn’t be entirely unexpected…

    • LOL Jack, I don’t know which is more laughable, your “thinking” that Newscorp is going “lefty” or that censorship is a characteristic of “lefties”.

      Sheesh.

If you REALLY want to watch it (gag), it is here (at that lefty youtube thingy) :

      • Two new topics: Newscorp “going lefty”–no, just reducing righteousness..”fair and balanced” you know.
“Censorship is a characteristic of lefties”–well, yes; hate and thought crime are lefty inventions along with political correctness.

Which is not to say that the right isn’t as likely to pursue its own versions when it has the chance…

  4. Hey The,
I just stumbled across this and, Many people will be watching the Republican presidential candidates 2012 primaries with heightened interest. Conservatives, moderates, and independents alike are disgusted with the policies of the Obama administration, and they are ready for someone else to take control of the presidency in 2013.
    Cheerio
